Dear Sir/Madam,
I have worn Mongrel Derby safety boots for most of my working life. Not only did I wear them at work but also as an everyday shoe because I have found them more comfortable than the numerous pairs of Florsheim shoes that I have bought over the years. Next Monday I and my wife are going on a two-week pilgrimage to Jordan, Israel, and Egypt. While the shoes that I am wearing are quite serviceable in the last day or so, I thought that I should buy a new pair for the trip. After visiting numerous shops selling safety shoes without any luck I decided to check on the internet if I could obtain a pair prior to leaving for the pilgrimage. As well as contacting other sites on the net I also came across your site. Since I needed these shoes urgently I decided to call rather than just order the shoes in case they did not arrive in time. I called your 1300 number at 2:33 pm and spoke to a lady who answered my call, took my details and said that someone would call me back. That call lasted 2min 33 seconds. To my amasement, less than 2 minutes later, at 2:37pm I received a call from Grant Tucrett, requesting details of the shoes that I wanted. This was followed by another call 2 minutes later, clarifying some contradictory information (incorrect manufacturer's code) that I had given him. Four minutes later he called again confirming that you had the shoes in the size I required in stock and that they could be shipped out to arrive by the weekend. I provided him with my address and credit card details. This call lasted 5 minutes. So all in all from my first contact with your company until my purchase was completed a total of only 14 minutes. Over the last 40 years, I have dealt with countless companies not only on but also on personal affairs and I can honestly say that I have never dealt with anyone as efficient as your staff. You are to be congratulated on the quality and service of the people that you have working for you. Please pass on my appreciation to the lady who initially answered my call and to Mr. Tucrett for their exemplary service.
